I don't know about you, but i'm pretty despairing of the news coverage of this little delay at airports due to the foggy weather. Sitting here watching ITV News (Yeah, so what? It's 6.30 and the BBC news has finished, C4 News hasn't started yet and I need to see the news today) I can't say that i'm terribly surprised that they've gone for the 'human' angle or, as it should be known, 'hysterical, sensationalist' angle.
I know that people will be upset that their flights are delayed but really, it's days until Chrimbo yet so do you really need to be snivelling like a weak-willed child on national telly like some bloke just has been? Get a grip! And what is the point of throwing an eppy at the airport staff? It's fog. There is fuck all you can do about it, so grow up and stiffen that upper lip.
It's nothing but a little delay, not the bloody Blitz! React in proportion please 'stranded travellers' and media freaks...
